This is especially to thank you for organising such a wonderful trip to Kenya from 4th March ‘23 to 10th March ‘23. Our passage to Nairobi via Dubai by Emirates was hassle free and we checked into Fairmont The Norfolk hotel in Nairobi for the night on the 4th. Thanks for booking us there because it is a lovely hotel On the 5th we drove to Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club at Nanyuki, an interesting 4hr drive. This club too was very nice with excellent high class facilities and service. We spent 2 nights at this  resort and availed of a day’s game drive in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in the foothills of Aberdare Mountain Range , with exciting sighting of wild life, particularly both the black and white rhinos! We also visited a  most interesting animal orphanage and had a drive around the 100 acres of the estate with a gorgeous view of the majestic Mount Kenya. The stay at this Club was most comfortable with  luxurious rooms and excellent dining. After 2 days we moved on to Elewana Sand River Masai Mara and checked in on the 7th of March. Our passage to Masai Mara from Mount Kenya was in itself quite an event as we flew in tiny aircrafts of the local airlines, which looked precarious but were actually very safe! Our stay at Elewana was eventful - the tented accommodation, the overall facilities and the food were nothing short of excellent and the service provided by the staff and the guides were of the highest class! The wild life game drives were simply mind-boggling! For instance, in a single 7-hour safari we managed to see , not only the Big 5 ( lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo) but also the cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, hogs etc etc Even a visit to a Masai tribal village and interacting with the tribals was exciting and intriguing! After an exhilarating stay at Masai Mara we finally bid adieu to Masai Mara, Kenya and Africa on the 10th of March!
